The University of the Philippines College Admission Test (UPCAT) for 2023 is scheduled earlier this year, with the official opening of applications in the first week of March. The test itself will take place on June 3 to 4, across more than 100 test centers throughout the country.
All interested examinees are required to apply online and must input their grades for Grades 8, 9, 10, and 11 into the UPCAT online portal. Although applicants may still be in Grade 11 at the time of application, they will need to encode their grades online in September 2023, when their Grade 11 grades are final and complete.
In September, the University of the Philippines (UP) will also request hard copies of the official grades of applicants from their schools to verify their grades. This will be the first traditional pen-and-paper admission test since 2020, and successful UPCAT 2023 passers will be admitted in the first semester of the Academic Year 2024-2025.
